Tet offered a grand ceremony and celebration at my son, Tom’s place for close friends and neighbors to celebrate the Year of the Tiger! Tom and his wife Sandy invited Lions to dance not only to bring excitement and joy, but also to chase evil and COVID-19 away. The most important guests were Oliver Stone and his lovely wife Sun-jung, who helped Tom establish his career in the film industry at the young age of 19. On behalf of Thomas and the family, we send our deepest gratitude to Oliver, a legend in the film industry. This weekend was full of excitement and entertainment. The energy was epic! Thank you Tom and Sandy for a lovely Tet party.

In the West, for example, people believe they must ‘pursue happiness’ as if it were some kind of a flighty bird that is always out of reach. In the East, we believe we are born with happiness and one of life’s important takes, my mother told me, is to protect it.

COVID-19 Response

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, travelling abroad to remote areas has been challenging. Therefore, as an effort to continue the mission of uplifting humanities in both life standard and spiritual well-being, Le Ly Hayslip invites you to join her at the Global Village Foundation headquarter in Escondido, California, United States, where her life mission and purpose began 35 years ago (1988-2022), as she returned from her motherland in 1986 and established foundations in 1988. In this apprenticeship, Hayslip will provide you with the quality of positive thinking and thankfulness and show her appreciation of lifetime achievement and experiences through her foundation’s humanitarian charity works.

In return for her donors and volunteers’ kindness, Hayslip expresses deepest gratitude and provides you with her wisdom and acknowledged advice and guidance on a diverse range of social issues. Once a war victim in poor Vietnam, and with cross-cultural experience since moving to the US in 1970, Le Ly founded two successful non-profit organizations to aid her homeland via big programs, including reconstruction of schools, orphanages, medical facilities, bridges, and roads. Le Ly’s foundations also provided assistance to disaster-stricken communities in Vietnam and Asia. Personally to Le Ly herself, she explains the decision to launch the apprenticeship:

I am an ordinary person with a third-grade education, a house-cleaning lady, and a single mom, yet can do extraordinary things. So can you. Let’s work together.
